Carolina Health and Hydration, PLLC missed Appointment Policy:
Our goal is to provide quality healthcare to all our patients in a timely manner, because your well-being is very important to us. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well.
Please be aware of our policy regarding missed or late appointments.
Please arrive before your scheduled appointment time. New patients are to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. Established patients are to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. This allows enough time for the registration process to be completed before the actual appointment time.
We understand unforeseen delays can occur. A grace period of 15-minutes will be permitted for unforeseen delays while travelling to the clinic location. If you arrive more than 15-minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you will be given the option of either being seen that day as a walk-in, if the schedule permits, or rescheduled for a later date.
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of others, please call the office of Carolina Health and Hydration, PLLC at (704) 438-1740 as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24-hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at (704) 438-1740 during business hours. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail or text message.
We will return your call as soon as possible.
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24-hours before the appointed time.
A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the patient a $50.00 missed appointment fee.
For new patients’ first appointments, a no show or late cancellation will result in a full charge of the scheduled service amount.
*For all House-calls/In-home visits, a credit/debit card is required to be on file. Your card will NOT be charged until after your visit; however, we have a cancellation policy of 24-hours. You will be charged for your appointment if you cancel after 24-hours of your appointment time, except for emergencies.
We do not want missed appointment fees to impede your care,
so we ask that you try and abide by the cancellation policy.
